Collaborative Success Story

In 2018, Hoffman Strategy Group embarked on an exciting collaboration with Lafayette, IN-based Trinitas Ventures, a well-known student housing developer. This partnership began with a comprehensive market demand analysis focusing on the former Deaconess Hospital site near the University of Cincinnati.

Our joint efforts with Trinitas Ventures paved the way for a dynamic design workshop involving Torti Gallas + Partners and Antunovich Associates, where the local community actively participated. This collaborative initiative led to the approval of a comprehensive master site plan and stunning architectural visuals by key stakeholders such as the Clifton Heights Neighborhood Association, the University of Cincinnati, and the City of Cincinnati from 2019 to 2020.

Trinitas Ventures utilized this robust package to onboard Crawford Hoying, a development partner from Dublin, OH. Together, they successfully transformed the 5-acre property into The District at Clifton Heights, a remarkable $640M adaptive reuse project at the former Deaconess Hospital site. This transformative development boasts over 1,000 beds of student housing, high-rise multi-family residences, and lively retail and dining spaces on the ground floor. Additionally, the project includes Hotel Celare, an upscale 171-key lifestyle hotel set to welcome guests in 2024.
